Entries are now open for the 2nd edition of the Tech Rocketship Awards (TRAs), the UK embassy's online event that challenges Portuguese technology companies with a great prize: the acceleration of internationalisation in the UK market.

Six categories will be awarded to companies that stand out in the British challenge. The British government points out that "There are six categories up for grabs this year: artificial intelligence, 5G, agri-tech, digital health, cybersecurity and climate technology. There is also the diversity in tech award, to combat the lack of funding in Europe for businesses with diverse representation."

The event to select the participating companies will take place on May 19 in Lisbon, with two sessions, one in the morning with a masterclass promoted by the DIT's Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP), focusing on how to prepare the perfect pitch and the development of global strategies.
